Year 2 visited Pontefract Castle to attend a workshop all about the history of sweets. We learned many facts about liquorice, and even located the liquorice bush in the herb garden of the castle grounds. Then we walked to the Haribo Shop where we could spend £1 on sweets. It was so exciting!
