Literacy- Reading:
Here is our story for this week- Brilliant boats.
I have read the story at home for you & uploaded the video of me reading (it is in 4 parts so i could upload directly to our website). Can you watch the videos in order to listen to our story and then talk to a grown up about the different boats you saw.

Expressive Arts and Design and Understanding the World:
Using recycling in your house can you build two different boats?
Think about the boats in our story. What kind of boat do you want to make? Is it a rowing boat, a huge ferry or a sailing boat? Think about what your boats will need- e.g. sailing boats will a sail and a mast to travel!
Your boats can be made out of different materials like below….
(Parents- we will be testing our boats on Thursday to see if they float/sink so please keep them safe.)
