Hello Crocodiles,
I hope you have had a lovely weekend at home. This week we will be looking at transport but focusing our learning on boats in particular.
Here is today’s home learning activity:
Phonics–
Please can you run through each letter of the alphabet with your child on the link below- encourage them to say the sound for each letter. (You will need to download the document and then close your internet browser. Open it using PDF or Adobe Acrobat Reader and press the sound button. There should be a link that comes up saying some features have been disabled for safety. You have to press trust this document for the sounds to work.)

Can you recap the letters we looked at last week- a, b and c.
Introduce these letters:
d is for dig.
e is for egg.
f is for fish.
Can you practice writing all three of these letters?
If I was going to go on a treasure hunt in my house looking for something beginning with the initial sound e- I might find an egg.
Can you go on a treasure hunt and find me 2 things in your house beginning with the initial sound f?
Finally can you go on a treasure hunt and find me 3 things in your house beginning with a d?
(Help for parents & carers- flower, fork, fruit, finger, food, fan, five, duck, dinosaur, dolly, dress, dog, dice, donut)
Make it easier- Find me one thing with the initial sound f and d.
Challenge– Can you write the word for an object you have found. Focus on using your phonics to spell- e.g. d-u-ck.
Thank you
Miss Crossley
