Home Learning – 3.4.20

Friday 3rd April 2020

Hello Elephants,

I hope you are all staying home and staying safe and listening to what your grown-ups say to you. Remember to share your reading book or another story every day.

It’s Fun Friday!

At Easter time, lots of flowers start growing in the ground and on trees.  If you can, go for a walk or look out of the window and see what flowers and plants you can see growing.

Can you draw a picture of the flower or plant that you liked the most?

Can you label it? (Where is the stem, petal, leaf)

Why was it your favourite?

We now have a class email address for you and your grown-ups to send us pictures of work you have been doing. You could email us a letter or send a photograph of you doing your home learning challenges too. We are missing seeing you at school and look forward to seeing what you have been doing.

We are not sending any more worksheets home for children to do other than what was in their home learning pack. Please use this email if you have any questions about the home learning we have set on the school website. You may not get an immediate response as teachers are still working in school and at home. Any other queries must go to the head teacher email. Thank you.

As we would have been finishing for the Easter holidays, today we will not be setting daily home learning challenges for the next two weeks. On Monday 6th April and Monday 13th April, we will set some challenges that you could do over the school holidays. Our daily home learning challenges will begin on 20th April unless school is back fully open. Thank you for your support and encouraging your children to learn at home during these uncertain times.

Take care and stay safe from Mrs Gascoyne
