Floppy’s Phonics
We would like you to start your day with some phonics. You can practice your speed sounds every day by following the links on our class pages.
Red group – Today we would like you to look at the letter group ‘ar’ as in arm. Ask a grown up to write this list of words .car, park, start, bark. Use your phonic knowledge to read the words. Now ask a grown up to read the words so you can write them. Listen carefully to the sounds in the words. Can you put one of the words into a sentence?
Blue group – Today we would like you to look at the sound ‘cks as in ‘ducks’. Ask a grown up to write this list of words. ducks, rocks, sticks. Use your phonic knowledge to read the words. Now ask a grown up to read the words so you can write them. Listen carefully to the sounds in the words
Yellow group – Today we would like you to look at the sound ‘ck’ as in duck. Ask a grown up to write this list of words.pick, sock, sack, duck. With your grown up use your phonic knowledge to read the words and have a go at copying the words.
Remember, say the sound, read the word.
Maths
Red – Number formation 0-100 Can you write number 0-100. Correctly, be careful with the formation; make sure they are the correct way.You could print out a blank 100 square grid or ask a adult to draw one in your book.

In your workbook, write your numbers 0-20, look carefully at each number making sure they are the correct formation. Can you go higher than 20? Challenge yourself. How far can you go?

In your workbook, Ask an adult to write the numbers 0-20 in yellow, Go over the numbers carefully, looking at each number. After this, go underneath each numbers.
