Good morning Kangaroos and Giraffes!

We hope you had a lovely weekend.

Phonics

Can you think of some words with the letter group ‘ou’ (as in loud), how many can you think of?

Can you tell a grown up the words that you know? Can you write some words with ‘ou’ in them? Can you read your words to someone?

English

The Queen has arrived; she is very impressed with the food and decorations!

Your dragon wants to sit next to the Queen, but is in a very mischievous mood today! Your dragon steals the Queen’s crown and runs off with it!

Where do you think the dragon is going to hide the crown? Will it be in the tall dark tower? Or in the smelly pitch black dungeon? Is it be buried in a deep dark hole in the garden?

Red and the Possums – In your workbooks, we would like you to draw and label a picture of where you think the dragon has hidden the Queens crown.

Blue, Green, Wombats and Koalas – In your workbooks, we would like you to draw and label a picture of where you think the dragon has hidden the Queens crown.

Yellow and Crocodiles – In your workbooks, we would like you to draw a picture of where you think the dragon has hidden the crown and have a go at labelling it with the help of a grown up.
