Hello Crocodiles,
Make sure you email a photo of your medal for the VE day competition to our class email: crocodilesclass@purston.wakefield.sch.uk , the competition closes today at 3pm! .
Here are today’s home learning activities:
Literacy and Expressive Arts & Design-
Help your child make a puppet show about their favourite story using objects around the house. Remind them to think of the key characters and events that happened in the story.
Can they re-tell the story in the correct order?
Health and Self Care-
Can you ask your child to practice getting dressed on their own? This includes putting on their own t-shirt, jumper, trousers or skirt. This is very important for our children who will be of Reception age in September as it will really aid them in getting undressed and dressed quickly at PE time.
Parents/carers please feel free to give verbal prompts and support and remember this will not happen immediately but with lots of practice your child will get better at doing this.
Make it easier: For our January/Easter starters- please encourage your child to practice putting on and taking off their own jumper, coat and shoes.
Challenge: Set a timer for your child to get dressed before the buzzer plays.
