Year 2 have settled well into their new classes after restarting their learning journey at Purston. We have been so pleased with the way in which they have quickly adapted to school routines as well as being able to socialise with their friends once again.
This half term’s topic is called ‘Worms, Germs and Squirms’ and is all about keeping healthy! We have explored many different ways of keeping healthy including eating healthily, exercise, hygiene, sleep and mental health.
It is lovely to see so many children reading regularly at home – please keep this up! Remember that every time you read, you will earn a raffle ticket! Next week we will be informing you about a new online reading programme – watch this space!
