In phonics today, we are looking at the letter group ‘aw’ (as in yawn). How many words can you think of with ‘aw’ in?
Can you write 5 words with the letter group ‘aw’ in them? Can you read your words to someone?

Your dragon still cannot get out of the tower and is starting to feel a little bit lonely and sad because they are missing their friends. Your dragon has enjoyed playing with mouse, but cannot wait to see their other friends and family.
We would like you to draw, make, create or paint your own emoji’s to explain how you have been feeling whilst you have been at home. Can you talk to a grown up about your emoji’s and how you are feeling?
Red/Possums – In your workbook, can you write a sentence about who you are looking forward to seeing and where you are looking forward to going?
Blue, Green, Wombats and Koalas – In your workbook, can you write a sentence about who you are looking forward to seeing and where you are looking forward to going?
Yellow and Crocodiles – Can you tell a grown-up who you are looking forward to seeing and what you are looking forward to doing?

How did you find comparing numbers yesterday using language ‘more than’, ‘less than’ and ‘equal to’.
Today we would like you to come up with your own sentences using numbers and the language. For example 12 is more than 6.
Red/Possums and Blue, Green, Wombats and Koalas – Write 2 sentences using ‘more than’.
2 sentences using ‘less than’.
1 sentence using ‘equal to’.
Yellow and Crocodiles – Can you orally tell a grown up a sentence using the words ‘more than’, ‘less than’ and ‘equal to’?
Challenge
Can you make a den somewhere using blankets and cushions, then sit, and read your favourite book? Why not get your grown-up to send us a picture of you in your den!
