Hello Tigers and Lions,
We hope you enjoyed yesterday’s activities. On the front of your folder is either a yellow, blue or red sticker. Please complete the activity with your grown up that matches the colour on your folder.
Remember to share your reading book or another story every day.
If your child has a phonics folder, please read daily.
English – We are carrying on with note-making about minibeasts.
Red and Blue and Yellow – Choose another one or two minibeasts to make notes about and record as yesterday.
Maths – in your workbook.
Red- Blue- Yellow- use your clock that you made last week. Using the big hand, place the big hand on 9, this is quarter to the hour. Practise telling the time to quarter to and quarter past (from last week).
Geography – this week we will be learning how to make plans and maps.
Can you make a plan of your garden? Try to draw the shape of your garden, eg rectangle/square. Draw in the features of your garden, eg where the grass is, if you have plants, garden furniture, bird table, etc.
(Don’t worry about the measurements, this is just to show that the plan is a simple diagram).
